MESA, Arizona — The Mesa Music Festival opened on October 15 in downtown Mesa, Arizona, running three days through October 17 with free admission. According to schedules published by the organizers and the City of Mesa, downtown becomes a multi-stage performance district with more than 200 performances, plus a dedicated comedy stage, keynote speakers, artist mentoring sessions, food and local vendors.
The opening night on October 15 features keynote speakers from 6:30 to 9 p.m., including Gardner Cole, Tyson Ritter and Matt Pinfield. Live music runs from 5 to 10 p.m. on October 16, with Christopher Shayne on the main stage, followed by a full day of performances from noon to 10 p.m. on October 17, headlined by P.O.D.
Organizers say venues are spread across walkable downtown restaurants, bars and independent performance spaces, with programming that mixes emerging artists, established performers and music-industry professionals.
