SEATTLE — Developers Aggro Crab and Landfall announced on October 15, in a post on the official PlayStation Blog, that the cooperative climbing game PEAK will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22, with cross-play supported across all platforms. The two studios, working together as Team Peak, released a console trailer the same day.

PEAK first launched on PC via Steam on June 16, 2025, and has sold more than 10 million copies. One to four players take the role of nature scouts stranded on a mysterious island whose only hope of rescue is to climb the mountain at its center. The mountain's layout changes every 24 hours, the route crosses four distinct biomes, and players must scavenge food and climbing gear and help each other over ledges, while injuries steadily drain stamina. The game supports proximity voice chat, online co-op and offline single-player.

Aggro Crab is a U.S. studio based in Seattle, Washington, known for Another Crab's Treasure, while Landfall is based in Stockholm, Sweden. The two teams first built PEAK during a one-month game jam in Seoul, South Korea, in February 2025. Alongside the digital release, Skybound Games will publish a physical PS5 edition priced at $19.99 that includes the game on disc plus an extra download code to gift to a friend; pre-orders are now open.
