Hegseth Meets UK Defence Secretary Streeting at the Pentagon
WASHINGTON — U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth met with UK Secretary of State for Defence Wes Streeting at the Pentagon. According to the U.S. readout of the meeting, the two discussed support for Ukraine, deterring Russia, strengthening the U.S.-UK defense partnership, NATO coordination, joint military exercises and cooperation on advanced defense technology.
Hegseth said the alliance with the United Kingdom is the cornerstone of transatlantic security.
