Irvine to Host El Niño Preparedness Town Hall; Service Day and New Portal Ahead
IRVINE, Orange County — Irvine is a city in Orange County, California. In its latest community briefing, the city of Irvine announced an El Niño preparedness town hall on October 26 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at City Hall, where residents can learn how to prepare for storm season.
Also in the briefing: the Love Irvine citywide service day is set for November 7 with more than 20 volunteer projects; the city's new PRISM online portal launches October 19 for business license applications and issue reporting; a library master plan survey runs through November 30; and the Halloween Monster Splash takes place October 24 at the Woollett Aquatics Center, with tickets for ages 17 and under priced at $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Great Park Live events include the Mega Night Market on October 17-18, Rise Against on October 23, Diwali Fest on October 24 and a Halloween movie night on October 30.
