Follow-Up: IMEX America Moves Its Next Two Editions to September, Staying at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas in 2027 and 2028

LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas is a city in Clark County, Nevada. IMEX America, the global meetings and incentive travel trade show, announced during this year's show that its next two editions will move to September: September 28–30, 2027, and September 26–28, 2028, both returning to Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year's edition ran October 13–15 at Mandalay Bay and closes today.
According to trade outlet Prevue's October 15 report from the show floor, first-time exhibiting destinations this year include São Paulo, Brazil, and Montenegro, while the Rwanda Convention Bureau reported three RFPs by the first day. A State of the Industry session in the education program featured IMEX CEO Carina Bauer alongside representatives of the U.S. Travel Association and Marriott Bonvoy's convention and resort network, covering destination perceptions, event design and planning under uncertainty. The organizer paired the announcement with a 'Hello September' campaign so meeting planners, destinations and suppliers can plan ahead.
GSM reported the opening of this year's IMEX America at Mandalay Bay on October 13. The show is one of the international business-events industry's flagship trade fairs, drawing destinations, hotels, venues and event suppliers from around the world to Las Vegas each year.
