Kelley Blue Book Homes Expands Into 10 New Markets, Now in 23 States and D.C., With National Rollout Set for Early 2027

AUSTIN, Texas — Home valuation platform Kelley Blue Book Homes announced on October 15 via GlobeNewswire that it has expanded into 10 new markets: Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, plus Washington, D.C. The platform launched in August, two months ago, and is now accessible in 23 states and Washington, D.C.; the company plans to complete its national rollout by early 2027.
The company says widely used valuation tools rely on metro-wide averages and public records and carry a median error of more than 7 percent, roughly $35,000 on a $500,000 home. Kelley Blue Book Homes instead uses neighborhood-level pricing powered by True Footage's TrueTracts technology, accounting for micro-market trends, seasonal timing and the property's actual condition, and homeowners can add details public records miss, such as renovations and upgrades; the company says its valuations are engineered to land within 3 percent of the final sale price.
Since launch, the company says, homeowners have requested more than 100,000 valuations and 500 agents have joined as Kelley Blue Book Homes Verified Agents. Chief Executive John Liss said rising rates make buyers more price-sensitive than ever, sellers who price correctly on day one have the advantage, and homeowners in the new markets now have the same independent valuation the Kelley Blue Book name has stood for in cars for nearly a century.
