The Utah Film Commission announced on October 14 that the Utah Board of Tourism Development has approved three new productions for state film incentives, creating over 120 jobs and generating $2.2 million in economic impact across Millard, Salt Lake and Utah counties.

This month's slate includes the holiday musical "A Totally Awesome Christmas," filming in Utah County; "The Woman I Forgot to Be," a new feature from local filmmakers Rob Diamond and Lara Mountford, filming in Salt Lake and Utah counties; and "These Little Ones," a short film by Samuel Pauling, filming in Millard County.

Virginia Pearce, director of the Utah Film Commission, said supporting these productions means investing directly in the state's creative industries, and that the Motion Picture Incentive Program continues to be a powerful engine that diversifies Utah's economy across the state. The Utah Film Commission, part of the Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity and the Utah Office of Tourism, was formed in 1974 and promotes the state as a destination for film, television and commercial production.
