Rockstar Releases GTA VI Launch Trailer; Game Arrives November 19 on PS5 and Xbox

Rockstar Games released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI on October 15. The 90-second video is the game's third official trailer, following trailers in December 2023 and May 2025. The game is set to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with digital preloads beginning November 12. No PC release date has been announced.
Rockstar says the trailer footage was captured in-game on a PlayStation 5. The story-focused clip centers on protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in the fictional state of Leonida, which includes Vice City. In the official synopsis, an easy score goes wrong and the pair are drawn into a criminal conspiracy spanning the state, leaving them to rely on each other to survive.
French electronic duo Justice composed the game's original score. The trailer debuted their single "Flower in a Hurricane," featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, which will also appear on the game's soundtrack album.
GTA VI is the first mainline entry in the series since Grand Theft Auto V in 2013. Rockstar released a 26-minute extended look in August, and the launch trailer is widely seen as the final major marketing push before release. The trailer made no mention of cryptocurrency features, and Rockstar has not confirmed such speculation.
