Adobe and NVIDIA Expand Collaboration: Photoshop and Premiere Optimized for RTX Spark, SI Processing Up to 2x Faster

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) and NVIDIA (Nasdaq: NVDA) announced on October 15 an expanded collaboration covering five Adobe products — Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io and Brand Concierge — aimed at speeding up SI-powered creation, production and personalization. The announcement builds on a strategic partnership the two companies unveiled in March 2026, and centers on NVIDIA's RTX Spark superchip, launched earlier this month.
On the desktop, Adobe is re-optimizing Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D for RTX Spark's unified memory and SI compute, saying SI processing, editing, color and effects can run up to twice as fast. Photoshop has been rearchitected around GPU-accelerated compositing, making tasks such as the Remove Tool and effects including Gaussian Blur and Light Leaks more responsive directly on the canvas. In Premiere, playback, rendering, effects, color and SI-powered features such as Enhance Speech and Object Mask are accelerated, and the heaviest texturing steps in Substance 3D Painter are also sped up.
In the cloud, the video collaboration platform Frame.io uses NVIDIA accelerated computing, including NVDEC for hardware-accelerated decoding and TensorRT with CUDA for content preprocessing and embedding generation. Adobe said early results on selected transcode and search workloads show embedding generation about five times faster, a four- to fivefold improvement in P95 processing latency, and a search proxy roughly 80 percent smaller, so uploaded media becomes searchable sooner across large libraries.
For enterprises, Adobe Brand Concierge has been optimized on NVIDIA's Nemotron open models, with the updated version set to reach enterprise customers later this year. NVIDIA has also selected Brand Concierge to power customer interactions on NVIDIA.com. The companies plan to showcase the work with hardware partners at Adobe MAX, running November 10 to 12. Financial terms of the expanded collaboration were not disclosed.
