K. Michelle Releases Country Debut 'Jesus & Whiskey,' With Dallas Stop on Release-Weekend Run

K. Michelle released 'Jesus & Whiskey,' her first full-length country album, on October 16 through Real Outlawz Records under license to BBR Music Group. The nine-track project, produced mainly by Kristian Bush with contributions from Jeff Balding, Jamie Moore and others, includes writing by ERNEST and Ant Clemons and the previously released singles 'Jack Daniel's,' 'Yodel' and the title track; 'Anything' features Blush. The Memphis-born singer frames the album as a return to the country music that shaped her early life, with themes of faith, perseverance and self-discovery. A three-city 'Jesus & Whiskey Weekend' supports the release: October 16 at The Fillmore in New Orleans, October 17 at House of Blues Dallas and October 18 at House of Blues Houston. The album follows 2023's 'I'm the Problem' and extends a country connection that includes her CMA appearances. (GSM, via Full Access Magazine and BBR Music Group)
