'Chrono Trigger' Orchestra Concert Comes to Hollywood's Dolby Theatre on October 18
An orchestral concert devoted to the music of the classic role-playing game 'Chrono Trigger' — 'Chrono Trigger Orchestra Concert: Melodies Across Time' — takes place at 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 18 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood (6801 Hollywood Blvd). Released by Square (now Square Enix) in 1995, 'Chrono Trigger' is widely regarded as one of the medium's landmark titles, and its score, composed mainly by Yasunori Mitsuda, is considered a classic of game music. The Dolby Theatre, home of the Academy Awards ceremony, has hosted a growing number of game- and film-music concerts in recent years. Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster and other outlets, per venue listings. (GSM, via Ticketmaster and Consequence)
