Delta and United Return to Moab, Restoring One-Stop Access to Arches and Canyonlands

Delta Air Lines and United Airlines both resumed service to Canyonlands Field Airport (CNY) in Moab, Utah, on October 6, restoring the red-rock town's first major-network airline service in close to three years. Both carriers' flights are operated by regional partner SkyWest. United flies daily to its Denver hub with a 50-seat Bombardier CRJ-200, while Delta links Moab to Salt Lake City with a 50-seat CRJ-500 in a premium-heavy configuration; Delta's route is seasonal, running through Thanksgiving weekend (November 30) before pausing until March 8, 2027. The service operates under a federal Essential Air Service agreement. Delta last served Moab in late 2023 and United in January 2024. Canyonlands Field sits minutes from Arches National Park and about a half-hour from Canyonlands National Park, and the two hubs put Moab one stop from much of the U.S. New lodging has followed, including Marriott's Red Cliffs Lodge Moab and Hilton's first Outset Collection property.
