CNB Community Bancorp Reports Q3 Earnings of $2.7 Million, or $1.35 Per Share

HILLSDALE, Mich. — CNB Community Bancorp, Inc. (OTCQX: CNBB), the parent company of County National Bank, on October 16 announced earnings for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2026 via Business Wire. Third-quarter earnings totaled $2.7 million, a decrease of $492,000, or 15.5%, from the $3.2 million earned in the third quarter of 2025. Basic earnings per share decreased to $1.35 from $1.55 a year earlier.
The company said the decrease in net income was predominantly the result of an increase in the provision for credit losses, partially offset by an increase in net interest income, an increase in noninterest income driven by wealth management, and a decrease in noninterest expense driven by a reduction in compensation expense.
For the first nine months of 2026, net income was $8.8 million, unchanged from the same period of 2025, while basic earnings per share increased to $4.45 from $4.32. The company said the nine-month variance reflected a $2.6 million increase in the provision for credit losses and $330,000 of infrastructure maintenance and expansion, offset by a $2.9 million increase in net interest income.
