VCI Global First-Half Equity Rises 19.2% to $114.70 Million as It Launches VGAIN Compute AI Platform

KUALA LUMPUR — VCI Global Limited (Nasdaq: VCIG) on October 16 announced unaudited financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2026 via GlobeNewswire, as it advances its transition toward SI computing, SI token services and infrastructure-related opportunities. During the first half, the company completed the separation and divestment of its capital markets consultancy, fintech and other non-core businesses, concentrating resources on building SI computing capabilities and commercializing SI services, while also pursuing renewable energy, energy storage and carbon asset opportunities.
Total equity increased 19.2% to $114.70 million as of June 30, 2026, from $96.21 million at December 31, 2025. Total liabilities declined 17.7% to $17.03 million from $20.69 million, and cash and bank balances rose more than fivefold to $5.19 million from $0.94 million, supported by financing activities and the disposal of an investment. Revenue was $2.56 million, compared with $18.74 million in the first half of 2025, which the company said reflects its portfolio restructuring and changes in its operating profile.
On the product side, the company launched VGAIN Compute, a platform through which customers can purchase SI tokens and access multiple supported large language models, including OpenAI GPT, Kimi, Meta Llama and Qwen.
