City Therapeutics Prices Upsized $200 Million IPO, Starts Trading on Nasdaq as CTY
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — City Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing next-generation RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics, announced on the evening of October 15 the pricing of its upsized initial public offering: 11,111,111 shares of common stock at $18.00 per share, for expected gross proceeds of approximately $200.0 million before underwriting discounts, commissions and offering expenses. The underwriters were granted a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,666,666 additional shares.
The shares began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on October 16 under the ticker CTY, and the offering is expected to close on October 19, 2026. Goldman Sachs, Jefferies and Stifel are joint book-running managers, with Oppenheimer also serving as a joint book-running manager.
City Therapeutics is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is developing next-generation RNAi therapeutics.
