Boston is a city in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. The City of Boston issued a traffic advisory on October 16 advising that events in the city will bring parking restrictions and street closures, and encouraging people attending them to walk, bike or take public transit, with information available on Bluebikes, the regional bike share service, and the MBTA.

In the Back Bay, parking will be restricted on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 on the east side of Hereford Street, from Boylston Street to Public Alley 443, to support operations for early voting in the general election.

In Mission Hill, the annual Mission Hill Road Race has been rescheduled to Sunday, October 18, with runners and walkers following a route beginning and ending at St. Alphonsus Street at Puddingstone Park. Temporary parking restrictions will be in place on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both sides of St. Alphonsus Street, from Tremont Street to Calumet Street. The city said events such as parades, road races and street fairs may require road closures.
