San Diego is a city in San Diego County, California. Mission Bayfest, San Diego's waterfront music festival, is under way at Mariner's Point Park on Mission Bay and wraps up on Sunday, October 18. The festival runs three days from October 16 across three stages with more than 30 acts, at 3119 Mariners Way, San Diego, CA 92109. The event is open to all ages, with tickets sold through the festival's official site and Ticketmaster.
Each day has its own headliners: Rebelution topped the Friday, October 16 bill alongside Steel Pulse and The Movement; Kolohe Kai headlined Saturday, October 17 with Common Kings and SOJA; and California punk rock band The Offspring closes the festival on Sunday, October 18, joined by The Interrupters, Goldfinger, The Expendables and Jakob's Castle. Sunday's gates open at noon.
Founded in 2022 on Mission Bay, Mission Bayfest centers on reggae, rock and alternative music, with stages set steps from the water and food and drink vendors on site. The festival is a ticketed event, and organizers direct attendees to the official site for same-day entry information.
