Inclusive Community Concert 'Symphony of Heart and Art' Tonight at 7 in Rowland Heights: Autistic Children Share the Stage With Professional Artists

The second annual inclusive community concert, 'Symphony of Heart and Art,' takes the stage tonight (Saturday, October 17) at 7 p.m. at the RUSD Performing Arts Center, 2000 S. Otterbein Ave, Rowland Heights, CA 91748. Presented by the Spectrum Dreams Music & Art Center, this year's concert celebrates neurodiversity under the theme 'Every Voice Matters, Every Dream Belongs.'
The concert is a charity performance for autistic children. Its lineup brings together professional artists — vocalists, pianists, violinists and others — performing on the same stage with autistic children and their families.
Among the featured performers is Chinese tenor Lingli Li. He holds a master's degree in vocal music from the China Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Jin Tielin, Ma Qiuhua and Yu Junjian. He was formerly a soloist with the Harbin Opera House and an associate professor of voice at a university. He won seventh place nationally in the ethnic singing category of the Chinese Music Golden Bell Awards and starred in the opera 'Xiao Erhei's Marriage' at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. Tonight he will sing 'The Best Future.'
According to the organizer, admission is free and advance registration is required.
