[Video] Fontaines D.C. Release Fifth Album 'Dopamine Chamber' on Oct. 16, Featuring Rosalía Collaboration

Irish post-punk band Fontaines D.C. released their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, on Oct. 16 via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, the 11-track record follows the group's Grammy-nominated 2024 album Romance, and Billboard published a full song-by-song ranking on release day.

Lead single "Marianne" arrived with a music video directed by Dave Meyers. Another track, "Where Is Gone?," features Spanish singer Rosalía — the band's first-ever studio collaboration with another artist. Guitarist Carlos O'Connell said he has been a fan of Rosalía since her debut and admired how she keeps Spanish musical tradition alive, which felt akin to what the band has tried to do with Irish music. Frontman Grian Chatten described the record itself as a dopamine chamber: "You step inside and we test these different mind or mood-altering pieces of music on you."

The band's European tour begins Oct. 21 in Lisbon, with further stadium dates planned for 2027, including a headline appearance at Ireland's Slane Castle. (GSM, based on reporting by Billboard and Rock Cellar Magazine)
