Tokio Hotel Release Seventh Album 'ENCORE' on Oct. 16; Arena Tour Kicks Off Oct. 28 in London
German pop-rock band Tokio Hotel released their seventh studio album, ENCORE, on Oct. 16 via BELIEVE — their first album in four years. The 12-track record includes the singles "Changes," "Memory Lane" and "California Nights." On release day the band also shared a video for its latest single, "Perfect Ending," and launched a 12-episode album-centric podcast, "ENCORE: Tokio Hotel," delving into the writing and production of the record.
The band — twin brothers Bill Kaulitz (vocals) and Tom Kaulitz (guitar), bassist Georg Listing and drummer Gustav Schäfer — has performed together since childhood and has sold more than 10 million records worldwide.
Tokio Hotel's arena tour in support of the album kicks off Oct. 28 at London's OVO Arena Wembley and runs through Paris, Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna and other European cities before closing in Madrid on Nov. 23, with many dates already nearly sold out. Summer 2027 European open-air dates have also been announced, with North American dates in the works. (GSM, based on reporting by BroadwayWorld and antiMusic)
