Mega Millions Draws 2, 15, 31, 41 and 68 for $403 Million; No Jackpot Winner
Mega Millions held its Friday drawing at 11 p.m. Eastern on October 16, with an estimated jackpot of $403 million and a cash option of $162.1 million. The winning numbers were white balls 2, 15, 31, 41 and 68, with the gold Mega Ball 11. Results published after the drawing showed no ticket matched all six numbers, so the jackpot went unclaimed; there were also no million-dollar second-prize winners.
The jackpot will roll over to the next drawing, scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, at 11 p.m. Eastern. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday, tickets cost $5, and the game is sold in 45 states plus Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The current jackpot run began after a Florida player won a prize of about $800 million on July 28, and the top prize has since rolled more than twenty times.
