Crowley Leads Tiffany in Wisconsin Governor's Race in New Poll

A new City Forward Collective and CFC Action Fund/YouGov poll released October 16 finds Democrat David Crowley leading Republican Tom Tiffany in the Wisconsin governor's race, 46% to 42%.
The governorship is open as Democratic Gov. Tony Evers is not seeking a third term. Crowley is the Milwaukee County executive; Tiffany, a former state lawmaker, has represented a mostly rural northern Wisconsin district in Congress since 2020.
With less than three weeks to the November 3 election, the contest in the battleground state remains close. 'Three months ago people didn't really know either of these candidates,' said Gordon Hintz, a former Democratic state lawmaker. 'It's kind of a race to the finish of who best defines themselves to the voters.'
