Travel Platform Klook Withdraws U.S. IPO Plans, Citing Market Conditions

Travel booking platform Klook Technology filed on Friday to withdraw its U.S. initial public offering plans amid market volatility, financial outlets reported October 17. 'Given current market conditions, Klook has decided this is not the right time to proceed with an IPO,' the company said.
Hong Kong-based Klook is one of Asia's major travel activities and transport booking platforms. The withdrawal comes as U.S. technology stocks have swung sharply and investors have grown cautious toward new listings. The company gave no timetable for reviving the offering.
