Caleb Williams on Track to Return and Start for Bears Against Falcons
Chicago is a city in Cook County, Illinois. The Chicago Bears plan to bring quarterback Caleb Williams back as the starter for Sunday's road game against the Atlanta Falcons, multiple outlets reported on October 17. Williams strained a hamstring late in the Week 2 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and has missed three games since, with Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum splitting the starts as the Bears went 2-1; after last week's loss to the Green Bay Packers, Chicago is 3-2. Head coach Ben Johnson said Friday that Williams is "on track" to start after practicing all week without a setback. His return is seen as key to stabilizing the Bears' passing game and avoiding back-to-back losses.
