49th Annual Mission Inn Run Returns to Downtown Riverside Today With 5K, 10K and Half Marathon
Riverside — Riverside is a city in Riverside County, California. The 49th Annual Mission Inn Foundation Run returns to downtown Riverside today, Sunday, October 18, with a 5K run, a 5K walk, a 10K, a half marathon and a Kids Fun Run (1/2K), plus virtual options. The Mission Inn Foundation says this year's race features changed start and finish lines, and its Health & Fitness Expo runs the same day from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A Southern California tradition since 1977, the run is the signature fundraiser for the Mission Inn Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit museum organization, with proceeds supporting the foundation and its museum. The course winds through downtown Riverside's parks, landmarks and historic neighborhoods. Runners could pick up their bibs in advance at White Park on October 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., or on race day starting at 5:30 a.m.
All participants receive a 2026 limited-edition dry-tech T-shirt, a finisher medal and a limited-edition reusable tote bag, the foundation said. Race information and a route map are posted at missioninnrun.org.
