Rutland Regional Opens Expanded Sleep Disorders Center, One of Only Three Accredited in Vermont

Sunday, October 18, 2026 · States · GSM News

Rutland Regional Medical Center held an open house on Oct. 15 for its expanded Center for Sleep Disorders, welcoming staff, community partners and the public to the new location at 3 Albert Cree Drive in Rutland.

Sleep center physician Veronika Jedlovszky spoke at the event, thanking attendees and saying the new space will help the center meet the community's growing need for sleep medicine. The center is one of only three in Vermont accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and was the state's first nationally accredited center — the field's highest accreditation — renewed earlier this year.

The expansion adds exam rooms and significantly increases overnight evaluation capacity: the sleep lab will grow from four beds to six. The hospital said the center is currently seeing patients, and the new clinical space will let physicians serve patients more efficiently in the outpatient setting.
