Arkansas beat Vanderbilt 31-21 on Saturday night, Oct. 17, in Nashville, ending a 14-game SEC losing streak and earning its first conference win since beating Tennessee at home in October 2024. Running back Cam Settles rushed for two touchdowns, including the go-ahead 3-yard score in the fourth quarter, and quarterback K.J. Jackson added a rushing touchdown. On defense, Joker Johnson returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown, Miguel Mitchell's interception with 3:48 left sealed the win, and kicker Max Gilbert added a late field goal at FirstBank Stadium.
