NORWICH — Early voting for Connecticut's 2026 elections opens Monday, October 19, and runs through November 1, giving voters a chance to cast ballots in person ahead of Election Day.

In Norwich, early voting takes place at City Hall (100 Broadway, Room 335) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, with extended hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on October 27 and 29. All five of Connecticut's U.S. House seats are on the ballot this year, along with the governorship and other state offices; there is no U.S. Senate race in Connecticut. Norwich voters will also decide a $55 million bond proposal to buy the Chelsea-Groton Bank building at 300 Main St and convert it into a new downtown police headquarters.
