FSU Star Running Back Ousmane Kromah Out for Season After Ankle Surgery

TALLAHASSEE — Florida State running back Ousmane Kromah is out for the season after suffering a dislocated ankle joint and a fracture in the second quarter of the Seminoles' 43-35 double-overtime loss to Miami on October 17. He was carted off the field.
According to an update from his mother on social media, Kromah has undergone surgery to place a plate and screws in the ankle, which will be removed after the bone heals; he will miss the final five regular-season games. Head coach Mike Norvell said after the game that Kromah is an important part of the team and the injury was tough to see. Kromah leads Florida State with 609 rushing yards this season.
