Ohio State Edges Indiana 19-15 to End the Hoosiers' 22-Game Winning Streak

No. 5 Ohio State beat No. 4 Indiana 19-15 on Oct. 17 at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, snapping the Hoosiers' 22-game winning streak — the longest active streak in the FBS — and handing Indiana its first loss since the College Football Playoff first round against Notre Dame on Dec. 20, 2024, and its first home loss since Nov. 18, 2023. With 1:02 left, Indiana quarterback Josh Hoover found a wide-open Nick Marsh on fourth-and-4 for what looked like a 27-yard game-winning touchdown, but Marsh's left foot landed out of bounds. Hoover, playing hurt, finished 20-of-40 for 296 yards and a touchdown. Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin left late in the fourth quarter with his arm in a sling; head coach Ryan Day said he will miss “weeks.” Sayin was 15-of-29 for 235 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions before leaving. Both teams are now 6-1.
