Sunday, October 18, 2026 · States · GSM News

The University of Nebraska women's volleyball team beat Purdue 3-1 on Oct. 17 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, continuing its dominant home form this season. The set scores were 25-13, 20-25, 25-19 and 25-14: Nebraska took the opener, dropped the second, then closed out the match with two straight sets.

The match was broadcast nationally on the Big Ten Network (BTN). Nebraska held clear edges in serving and blocking, and a 7-0 run in the middle of the fourth set broke the match open; Olivia Mauch also recorded a service ace in that set. Purdue's defense leveled the match in the second set, but its offense faded afterward and never seriously threatened again. With the Big Ten win, Nebraska remains near the top of the conference standings.
