Sunday, October 18, 2026 · States · GSM News

The University of Nevada Wolf Pack lost 31-17 at North Dakota State on Oct. 17 at the Fargodome in Fargo. Nevada jumped out to an 11-0 lead behind a 15-yard rushing touchdown by quarterback A.J. Bianco, but the game turned in the final moments of the first half: Nevada kicker Joe McFadden's 57-yard field-goal attempt missed, and Jackson Williams returned it 100 yards for a touchdown, sending North Dakota State into halftime ahead 19-11.

Bison quarterback Nathan Hayes threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Mekhi Collins and ran for another score. North Dakota State held the ball for 38:09 to Nevada's 21:51 and outgained the Wolf Pack 345 yards to 286. It was another win for the Bison since their move up to the FBS in July; they are 3-1 in Mountain West play, tied for first with Air Force and Wyoming. Nevada fell to 2-4 and hosts San Jose State on Oct. 24.
