Oregon Rallies Past Nebraska 17-14 as Raiola Leads Game-Winning Drive Against His Former Team

Oregon beat Nebraska 17-14 on Oct. 17 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, with backup quarterback Dylan Raiola — facing his former team — leading the comeback. Raiola entered at the start of the fourth quarter with Oregon trailing 14-6, the offense having stalled under starter Brock Thomas.
Raiola first led a drive for a field goal to narrow the gap, then, taking over with 5:31 left, directed a 20-play, 82-yard game-winning drive, finding Jamari Johnson for the go-ahead touchdown with under 30 seconds remaining. Raiola finished 11-of-18 for 59 yards and a touchdown — out-passing Thomas (9-of-20, 54 yards, one interception) in a single quarter. It was the second time this season Raiola has come off the bench to lead a win. Oregon improved to 4-2; starting quarterback Dante Moore remains out with a concussion suffered Sept. 26 against USC.
