Clemson Blanks Charleston Southern 37-0 for Its First Shutout Since 2021

Clemson beat Charleston Southern 37-0 at Memorial Stadium on Oct. 17, the Tigers' first shutout since a 30-0 win over South Carolina in 2021. Clemson's defense allowed just 76 total yards — its fewest since holding South Carolina State to 44 in 2016 — while recording four sacks and a season-high 13 tackles for loss.
Kicker Nolan Hauser hit a 59-yard field goal just before halftime, the second-longest in school history behind Spencer Benton's 61-yarder against Ball State in 2012; Hauser was perfect on the day, also converting from 41 and 44 yards. Quarterback Tait Reynolds went 17-of-26 for 127 yards and rushed for 40 more, Chris Johnson Jr. ran for two touchdowns, and Gideon Davidson rushed for 59 yards and scored for the fourth straight game. Clemson improved to 4-2.
