WASHINGTON — The White House's 2026 Fall Garden Tours conclude on Sunday, October 18. According to the announcement from the Office of the First Lady, the White House grounds are open to visitors this weekend: Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, October 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

The tours are free and open to the public, but a ticket is required for all attendees, including small children. The National Park Service distributes free, timed tickets at a tent outside the White House Visitor Center beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day of the tours. The Visitor Center is located at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004, near the intersection of 15th Street and E Street NW. Tickets are distributed one per person on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guests can view the South Lawn, the Rose Garden, the White House Kitchen Garden, the expanded White House Beehive and the new helipad. The White House said the historic gardens and grounds of the People's House have served as a backdrop throughout the nation's 250 years of history.

The White House also published a list of prohibited items, including aerosols, backpacks and oversized bags, drones, glass and metal containers, laser pointers, selfie sticks, signs and flags, umbrellas with metal tips and weapons of any kind.
