City of Irvine Launches PRISM, an Online Platform for Business Licenses and Code Enforcement Reports
The City of Irvine, in Orange County, California, announced on October 19 the launch of the first phase of PRISM, the Public Resource & Integrated System for Land Management. Through prism.cityofirvine.gov, local businesses and residents can now use any device, 24/7, to apply for a new business license, renew an existing license, or report a code enforcement concern. The city said future phases will expand the platform to additional digital services, including planning and permitting. The launch is part of the city's commitment to providing transparent, efficient and accessible online tools for residents and community partners; business licensing services were temporarily unavailable from October 5 to 19 while the city prepared the launch.
