Kennywood Adds One-Night Halloween Drone Show on Oct. 24 With 500 Drones
WEST MIFFLIN — Kennywood, the amusement park in West Mifflin, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh, has announced a one-night-only Halloween drone show on Saturday, October 24, at 10:15 p.m. Five hundred drones, together with lasers, will form images of the park's rides, characters and haunted attractions in the sky over the park's lagoon.
The show is part of the park's annual Phantom Fall Fest, which opened September 12 and runs through November 1, featuring seven haunted houses, four scare zones and family-friendly daytime activities including trick-or-treating at Ghostwood Estate. Phantom Fall Fest was recently voted the No. 4 best theme park Halloween event in the country in the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers' Choice Awards.
Phantom Fall Fest tickets start at $37.49, and a tasting card for the festival's five fall food locations is available for $39.99. (GSM, based on USA TODAY)
