The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties in Florida has announced its 2027 competitive grantmaking cycle: letters of intent open on November 2, 2026, and are due by 5 p.m. ET on December 18, 2026, with recipients to be announced in late spring 2027.

The Community Impact cycle funds programs, operations and organizational growth, for year-round or summer funding. Its four priority areas are Economic Opportunity (job training and workforce development, financial literacy, vocational and life skills), Education and Youth (early-childhood literacy, mentoring, internships), Thriving Communities (arts and culture, housing, hunger, mental health, environment) and Capacity Building (strategic planning, executive coaching, communications and marketing). Applicants must be nonprofit organizations serving Palm Beach and Martin Counties, with one proposal per organization.

Invited full proposals follow from February 1, 2027, award notices are set for May 21, 2027, and the grant period begins July 1, 2027. The foundation will hold free grant-seeker sessions in November in Stuart, Belle Glade, Delray Beach and West Palm Beach, plus one virtual session. The foundation said it awarded more than $6.56 million to 177 nonprofits across the two counties in 2026.
