GiveWell Community Foundation Opens Impact Polk 2027 Grant Applications, Deadline Nov. 16
LAKELAND, Fla. — GiveWell Community Foundation announced on October 19 that applications are now open for Impact Polk 2027, its annual competitive, donor-directed grant program, with a deadline of midnight on November 16, 2026.
Impact Polk has run for more than 20 years and addresses community needs throughout Polk County. Applications are open to public nonprofit organizations that serve in Polk County and are recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3).
The six focus areas, identified through the United Community Indicators, are economic and employment opportunities, education, food security, housing and shelter opportunities, quality of life, and transportation. The foundation's announcement did not state grant amounts; detailed guidelines are at impactpolk.org.
