Rams WR Davante Adams Out 6 to 10 Weeks With Ruptured Hamstring Tendon

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay announced on Monday, October 19, that wide receiver Davante Adams has suffered a ruptured semitendinosus — a tear of one of the hamstring tendons — and is expected to miss six to 10 weeks. Adams was injured while running a route late in Sunday's 18-16 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Adams, 33, has 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns in six games this season. A three-time first-team All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowl selection, he has played 13 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets and Rams, totaling 1,047 catches for 13,113 yards and 121 touchdowns.
The Rams lost several other players in the same game: nose tackle Poona Ford suffered a season-ending torn triceps; defensive tackle Kobie Turner is expected to miss four to six weeks with a groin injury and will likely be placed on injured reserve; and kicker Blake Grupe tore his ACL and was placed on injured reserve on Monday.
McVay said the team is working on options at kicker and will discuss adding a receiver. With Adams sidelined, Puka Nacua will continue to lead the Rams' receiving corps. (GSM, based on Reuters and NBC Sports)
