Air Force One Makes First Landing at Palm Beach's President Donald J. Trump International Airport
WASHINGTON — Air Force One touched down for the first time at the newly designated President Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach County, Florida, on October 19, the White House announced in an official post. "The first landing of Air Force One at President Donald J. Trump International Airport, in Palm Beach County, Florida!" the White House wrote.
Palm Beach County is home to Mar-a-Lago, the President's estate, which has served as a political and social hub across both of his terms. Naming a major airport for a president follows American precedent, most prominently Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. (GSM, based on the White House announcement)
