2026 World Series Schedule Set: Game 1 on October 23 in Milwaukee, Brewers Hold Home Field
Major League Baseball's 2026 World Series schedule is set. Game 1 will be played on Friday, October 23, at American Family Field in Milwaukee between the National League champion Milwaukee Brewers and the American League champion, with every game on FOX. Games 1 and 2 are in Milwaukee on October 23 and 24; Games 3 through 5 move to the AL champion's park from October 26 to 28; and Games 6 and 7, if necessary, return to Milwaukee on October 30 and 31.
The Brewers hold home-field advantage after finishing with baseball's best regular-season record at 103-59. They swept the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS by a combined score of 21-11 to reach the World Series for the first time since 1982 and only the second time in franchise history. Milwaukee's bullpen has been central to the run, posting a 1.33 ERA over more than 40 postseason innings.
The AL representative is still to be decided: the Tampa Bay Rays lead the Cleveland Guardians 3-2 in the ALCS. Either opponent guarantees a first-time champion storyline — Tampa Bay is chasing its first title, while Cleveland is trying to end a 78-year drought.
