LA Phil Halloween Film Concert: 'Werewolf by Night' and 'Headless' Live to Picture on Oct. 31
The Los Angeles Philharmonic will present a Halloween night film concert on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. at Walt Disney Concert Hall, opening with a first look at 'Headless,' a new musical inspired by 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,' followed by Marvel's 'Werewolf by Night' performed live to picture under conductor Sarah Hicks, with music by Michael Giacchino.
Earlier that day at 3 p.m., Clark Wilson provides live organ accompaniment to the 1920 silent film 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.' The hall is at 111 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles. The LA Phil's fall film-concert series continues with 'Home Alone' on Nov. 27-28 and 'Elf' on Nov. 28-29, the latter conducted by its composer John Debney with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
