California Marks Digital Citizenship Week Oct. 19-23 for Safe, Smart and Ethical Online Choices
Digital Citizenship Week runs Oct. 19-23, according to the California Department of Education's (CDE) official calendar of events. Recognized in the third week of October each year, the week is one of many efforts in California to build capacity for students and families to make safe, smart and ethical decisions in the digital world.
Schools and districts use the week for instruction on online safety, media literacy and digital etiquette. Details are listed on CDE's official calendar page.
