Tzu Chi Center New York Launches 'Tea and Tranquility' Series on Oct. 25
Tzu Chi Center New York (229 E 60th Street, New York) is launching a 'Tea and Tranquility' series, with its first session, 'A Little Light of Gratitude,' on Oct. 25. The afternoon combines tea, meditation and mindful crafting, presented by the center as a chance to unwind and reconnect. Early-bird admission was $25 through Oct. 18 and regular admission is $35, with registration through the LUMA link in the center's bio.
The center held an Open House on Oct. 18 with tea ceremony, flower arrangement and calligraphy. Founded in 1966, Tzu Chi is a Buddhist charitable organization whose U.S. work spans charity, medicine, education and culture.
