[Video] A24 Sets Jeremy Saulnier's 'Slayground' for January 29, 2027, Unveils First Poster
A24 announced on October 19 that Slayground, the haunted-attraction horror film from director Jeremy Saulnier, will open in theaters on January 29, 2027, and released the film's first poster. The poster shows a whiteboard reading "It has been [blank] days since the last homicide" beneath a hand-drawn worried face.
Saulnier previously directed Green Room and Rebel Ridge. Slayground stars Imogen Poots and James Badge Dale, with Cory Michael Smith, Sophie Wilde, Chase Sui Wonders, Young Mazino, Stephen Root and Matty Matheson rounding out the ensemble.
The film's first teaser, released in September, was built entirely around surveillance feeds from a fictional haunted attraction, hinting at a Halloween night going badly wrong inside its maze. A24 has kept plot details largely under wraps, and a full trailer has yet to be released.
