Song Dongye to Bring 'Take Another Moment' World Tour to The Novo in Los Angeles on Nov. 25
LOS ANGELES — Chinese folk singer-songwriter Song Dongye will perform at The Novo in downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, on Wednesday, November 25, at 8:00 p.m., as the Los Angeles stop of his "Take Another Moment" world tour. The Novo, part of the L.A. LIVE entertainment district, is located at 800 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles.
According to the event listing published by ticketing platform AXS, tickets for the show are on sale through AXS, with prices as listed on the official AXS ticketing page. The tour supports Song's new album: on June 29, 2026, he released "Take Another Moment," his second album and his first full-length release in thirteen years, following his 2013 debut "Anhe Bridge North." The new record was entirely self-conceived, arranged and produced.
AXS says the tour will present the new songs alongside the old favorites that have stayed with listeners over the years. On the North American leg, the Los Angeles date follows a November 21 (Saturday) stop in Seattle and a November 23 (Monday) stop at The Warfield in San Francisco, before the tour heads to Terminal 5 in New York on November 28 (Saturday).
One of the defining voices of Beijing folk, Song is known for songs such as "Miss Dong" and "Anhe Bridge." Between 2017 and 2018 he released the singles "Empty Harbor Song," "Guo Yuan Chao" and "To Know"; "Guo Yuan Chao" went on to win Best Lyricist at Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards.
