Several Montanans Named to 2026-27 U.S. Ski Team Rosters
U.S. Ski & Snowboard has announced its 2026-27 national team rosters, and several Montanans made the cut.
Former Montana State skier Keely Cashman was named to the women's alpine A team for the fourth time, 406 Sports reported. A two-time Olympian, Cashman placed 15th in both the super-G and the team combined at this year's Milan-Cortina Olympics. Helena's Konnor Ralph earned his fifth selection to the men's slopestyle and big air team; in his Olympic debut he finished fifth in big air and ninth in slopestyle, and he is the 2025 U.S. national champion. Montana State student Michael Mawn of Bozeman, fourth on the 2026 Freeride World Tour, joins the inaugural U.S. freeride team, along with Big Sky's Holden Samuels and Montana State's Joey Leonardo. Kalispell's Brenna Huckaby, a three-time Paralympic gold medalist in para snowboard, was named to the national team for the 13th straight year. (GSM, via 406 Sports)
