UNMC's $2.75 Billion Project Health Hospital Expansion Approved in Omaha
The University of Nebraska Board of Regents has approved an expanded scope for the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Project Health hospital in Omaha.
The project grows from 1.25 million square feet to 1.5 million square feet, and its budget rises from $2.2 billion to $2.75 billion, with final completion expected in 2033, Grow Omaha reported. The board also discussed companion Midtown development, including a parking garage across Farnam Street. When finished, the project will substantially expand UNMC's medical and research campus in Omaha. (GSM, via Grow Omaha)
