Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah announced that the final segment of its car-free Bryce Canyon Shared Use Path, also known as the Canyon2Canyon Trail, is complete, opening the full 24-mile paved route. The National Park Service (NPS) announced the completion on Oct. 15.

The path connects Bryce Point inside the park with Red Canyon in the Dixie National Forest, linking the visitor center, Sunrise Point, Bryce Canyon Lodge, Sunset Point, Inspiration Point, Bryce Point and two campgrounds. The final 2.7-mile segment began construction in May 2025 and was finished in September 2026, in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration.

The park said the path is open to walking, cycling, wheelchairs, leashed pets and non-motorized scooters and skateboards, and to cross-country skiing in winter. Park project manager BJ Cluff said the new route lets visitors experience the park 'without relying only on driving.'
